Jackson named
Large Business of the Year in Suffolk
Jackson has been named Large Business of the Year in Suffolk.
Representatives from the company, which has a head office in Ipswich, picked up the award at a recent black tie event organised by regional newspaper the East Anglian Daily Times.
The awards, which are open to companies from all sectors, recognise business's outstanding contribution to work life in Suffolk and heir contribution to the county's wider community.
The win rounds off a month of successes for Jackson, who has seen its schemes and people pick up industry awards across the regions.

CECA Southern Awards
At the recent CECA Southern Awards Jackson celebrated a double win.
Degree Apprentice Emily Cole, who is currently working on the Lyminster Bypass scheme in Sussex, won one of the Most Promising Apprentice categories, while Abigail Howells, who works in the Highways division, took to the stage to receive the Most Promising Industrial Placement award.

ICE East Midlands Merit Awards
Jackson also had a highly successful evening at the recent ICE East Midlands Merit Awards with schemes from the region picking up six awards
The awards, known as the EMMAs, seek to recognise exceptional projects, teamwork and individual excellence in the field of civil engineering.
A scheme to reinstate riverside flood defences in the Derbyshire town of Matlock after a channel wall collapsed was the company’s big winner of the night, picking up Merit Awards in both the Large Project and Team Achievement categories. The judges also awarded the project a Merit award for Sustainability.
