Jackson donated £1,500 to Newhaven’s Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) for providing practice rescue training to our site working on the Newhaven flood alleviation scheme.
During this project, Jackson will undertake construction of a section of flood wall on the edge of the River Ouse’s revetment.
It is crucial our operatives are able to assist and potentially save each other in the event of a fall.
The RNLI is a UK-based charity with the aim of reducing loss of life due to drowning. It was founded in 1824, and now has a 24-hour on-call lifeboat service across more than 230 locations in the UK and Ireland.
