Current Vacancies

Jackson is a regionally structured civil engineering firm, working out of seven offices across the country. Our regional set-up means that, on the whole, we're able to get our staff home to their families each night.

We're savvy enough to recognise that it's the people on the ground who make our organisation work and that's why we invest in all our staff, to help them develop inspiring and enjoyable careers. But don't take our word for it, take a look at the videos at the bottom of this page to find out why our people love working for Jackson.

Industrial Placement Quantity Surveyors

We have four placements available for 2018/2019 in each of our regions. Placements are for a minimum of 12 months, up to 15 months depending on individual needs. The ideal candidate will be studying a Quantity Surveying degree and be based within our operating regions.

Salary: £18,000, plus company vehicle, fuel card and 25 days holiday.
Role: Assistant Quantity Surveyor

The successful applicants will be working out on site within a project team as an assistant Quantity Surveyor. Guidance and training will be provided and the placement will be an excellent opportunity to put theory learned at University into practice.

At Jackson, we treat all our Industrial Placements like permanent members of staff, providing training and development, mentoring and guidance. You never know, if you do well, you could end up with an offer of employment upon graduation like 75% of our previous IP’s.

A polite note to recruitment agents...

We're flattered that you'd like to work with us, however we have a preferred suppliers list of several agencies we've built up long-standing relationships with. There are lots of you and only a small number of us, so with this in mind, we politely ask that you avoid making approaches to our HR team or managers across the business. Thank you
